The year 2025 will be remembered. It was a year where the numbers on the page met the fervor of our prayers, proving once again that when we offer our “loaves and fish” in obedience, God multiplies them to feed the multitudes.
As we stand at the beginning of 2026, we invite you to look back with us at the miraculous milestones of the past year and look forward to a strategic shift that will take the Gospel to the unreached in new ways.
A Letter from Our CEO: Celebrating God’s Faithfulness

“2025 has been another year of God doing far more than we could have anticipated. We give Him all the glory—He truly is the God who takes what we offer in obedience and multiplies it to feed the multitudes.
Since our beginning in 2020, we have pursued a bold, God-sized vision: the release of 50 new movements to Christ. From the start, we knew only God could accomplish this. Jesus calls us to ask boldly, obey fully, and make disciples of all nations—and so we have continued to ask Him for 50 movements, 100,000 new believers, and 10,000 disciple-making groups through our trainees.
At the close of 2025, we joyfully report 22 confirmed movements to Christ, up from six at the end of 2024. Sixteen new movements were added this year alone, and many more are emerging. In May, we also crossed two significant milestones: over 100,000 new believers and more than 10,000 disciple-making groups launched. God is clearly at work, expanding His Kingdom through our trainees.
This year also marked growth in language-specific and regionally specific cohorts, with updated Portuguese training and the first pilots of Spanish, French, Nepali, and Bengali courses. Through these indigenous-language efforts, we are already seeing meaningful fruit and new churches formed.
Financially, 2025 brought both challenges and breakthroughs. We are deeply grateful for our faithful partners and supporters—from the U.S., Australia, and Europe, as well as seeing people on the ground in Nigeria, Togo, India, and Malaysia —who helped meet our budget and advance this work. To God be all the glory, and may the coming year bring even more multiplication and fruit among those still waiting to hear of His great love.”
2025: A Year of “Far More” than Anticipated
Beyond the milestones mentioned by Cynthia, we have even more to celebrate as we transition into this new year. Each movement God has given represents a chain reaction of the Gospel—disciples making disciples, and churches planting churches, unto the fourth generation and beyond.
A Fundraising Breakthrough
We also want to pause and say a massive THANK YOU to our community. In our year-end fundraising campaign, we set a target to fuel our initiatives, and you responded with overwhelming generosity. Together, we raised $33,015!
Praise the Lord for every donor who gave, whether it was $10 or $10,000. These funds are already being deployed to provide training both online and onsite for indigenous leaders in the Global South, ensuring that economic disparity never stands in the way of a leader receiving the training they need to reach their people.
2026 Vision: From Addition to Greater Multiplication
While we celebrate the 100,000+ believers who have come to Christ, our heart at DMI is not just for numbers. It’s for deep discipleship. As we look toward 2026, we are refining our strategy to focus on the quality and depth of our movements.
1. The Shift to Language and Region-Specific Cohorts
One of our most significant shifts for 2026 is the transition to a language and region-based cohort system for the disciple-making course. We have learned that the Gospel resonates most deeply when it is shared in a person’s “heart language” and within their specific cultural context.
By prioritizing cohorts in Tamil, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Bangla, and Nepali, we are removing barriers of language and literacy. These cohorts aren’t just led by teachers; they are led by indigenous coaches who have successfully applied the training in their own villages and cities. They understand the persecution, the cultural nuances, and the stories that will lead their neighbors to the feet of Jesus.
2. Deep Discipleship Over Simple Addition
According to Joshua Project data, there are still 7,219 unreached people groups worldwide. Population growth in these areas is currently outpacing the growth of the Church. To change this trajectory, we must move beyond “addition” and embrace “multiplication.”
Our 2026 strategy focuses on:
- Relational Follow-up: Moving beyond the “online classroom” to hands-on field modeling and accountability with our hosting groups and onsite training.
- Equipping the “Least and Last”: Specifically targeting areas with high levels of persecution like Nigeria, Pakistan, India, and Malaysia.
- Sustainable Networks: Creating peer groups for alumni to ensure they have the “spiritual family” needed to sustain a movement long-term.
Destination: Kenya | The 2026 Global Gathering
The central event of the upcoming year will be the Global Gathering in Kenya this March. We are gathering movement leaders, coaches, and volunteers from across five continents for a concentrated time of prayer, worship, and vision-casting.
For many of our leaders, this will be the first time they meet their “spiritual family” from other nations. It will be a time to:
- Encourage: Share testimonies of God’s power in the face of persecution.
- Equip: Receive “just-in-time” training for those leading multi-generational movements.
- Unite: Strengthen the “DNA of multiplication” that binds our global team together.
