This past year brought incredible breakthroughs and heart-breaking sacrifice as we pursued God’s dream for the release of new movements. As we celebrate the victories and grieve the losses faced, we can only cry “Glory and praise to the Lamb who is worthy of our everything. We give you all the glory and we rejoice as we look to see your Kingdom come.” May He continue to give us grace, zeal and wisdom to pursue all that He has called us to be and do, His power and Spirit upon us in 2024. We are truly grateful for all who join us in this endeavor; whether you are a global ministry leader, course alumni, pastor, prayer partner, staff member, or financial partner — we know it takes the body of Christ working as one to see this kind of fruit. Words can’t express how grateful to God we are for all that He has been doing through DMI. As we move into the second month of this year already, we are filled with excitement about the future!
Some areas of emphasis in 2024 for DMI include…
- Expansion of Onsite Training in numerous locations
- Launching of new courses in other languages besides English
Bengali and Tamil In the Production Phase Now
We expect to launch the beta versions of these two South Asian languages in March and April! Please pray with us for many who speak those languages but don’t speak English to be equipped to be effective disciple-makers and church planters!
Onsite Trainings Ramping up this Spring
In January, we ran a training for the Getting Started in Disciple Making Movements alumni in Kenya. About 40 people attended. Other follow-up trainings are planned for Malawi, Tanzania, Malaysia, and Nigeria in the coming months. Praise God for this opportunity to get face-to-face with trainees, eat food together, practice skills, and pray for what God has ahead for them. The training ended with each person setting specific goals for how they will apply the new skills they had learned. We are believing for great fruit and multiplication from those we were able to train onsite there in Nairobi. Pray with us for this!
